Intellectual honesty, sealed on-chain
Cite the machine you thought with.
Scholarship is entering an age where ideas are forged in dialogue with artificial intelligence — yet those conversations vanish, change, or are quietly disowned. DeCite lets you permanently seal a human–AI exchange: stored on IPFS, timestamped on Polygon, and citable with one human-readable code. No wallet and no crypto knowledge required.

The crisis of disappearing provenance
When a share link rots or a platform deletes a thread, the intellectual record collapses — a reviewer can no longer confirm what was asked, what was answered, or when, and attribution decays into hearsay. DeCite guarantees the record never falls: the sealed dialogue stays readable even if the original platform forgets it ever existed.
“A citation is a promise that the source can be found. We are simply keeping the promise.”
Permanence
Content-addressed on IPFS — the CID is the proof, and any tampering changes the address.
Immutable timestamp
A Polygon transaction fixes the exact moment of sealing, beyond dispute.
Human-readable citation
Every seal yields a clean code like DC-20260619-01 for books and papers.
Your citations don't depend on us
Every seal is written to a public smart contract on Polygon and stored on IPFS. If DeCite ever disappears, your references remain permanently verifiable straight from the blockchain — no website, no account, no permission required.
